4th of July Celebrations

7/1 Totally 80s 4th at Death Ridge Brewery – It’s a totally 80s day celebrating the 4th of July! Rock your favorite 80s gear! Lawn chairs welcome! Over The Top Chef on site with amazing eats, and 80s band Radio Redline hits the stage at 5:30! Fireworks to cap the night off!

7/2 “Salute to America” Concert – The Seipp/Sheets duo will celebrate America and honor all those who gave, and continue to give us our freedom through patriotic, virtuoso and entertaining music that will inspire and touch the heart.

7/4 Town of Culpeper 4th of July – 4th of July is on the horizon! No matter how your family likes to celebrate, the Town of Culpeper has lots to do: Culpeper Freedom 5K, Freedom Car & Bike Show, Family Fun at Yowell Meadow Park & Fireworks at 9:15 PM.

7/4 FREEDOM Car and Bike Show – The 2023 Freedom Car and Bike Show is a Town of Culpeper Festival Committee Event, presented by Christ-Centered Addiction Restoration Services (CARS). Enjoy an afternoon of family friendly live music, classic cars and bikes of all makes and models.

7/6 Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock Farm Show – Come out and enjoy livestock shows, little Mr. & Mrs. pageant, a tractor show, bucket babies, children’s activities and more!

7/7 Sidewalk Sale! – Culpeper Downtown 1st Friday – This is a FREE, Family Friendly, Community Event. Discover local artists, enjoy musical performances, shop ‘till you drop, sample fine wines and crisp brews, savor delicious foods and more. There is something fun to see or experience around every corner in Culpeper Downtown on First Fridays! June 2nd will highlight Music & Movement, with many shop activities and entertainment built around this fun theme!

7/8 Mountain Run Winery’s 7th Anniversary Celebration – Can you believe we’ve been open SEVEN years?! Neither can we! To celebrate we are hosting a fun day filled with great music, food and wine at the winery!

7/13 Culpeper County Appreciation & Valor Awards – Enjoy an evening to show your support to Culpeper County’s local Firefighters, EMTs, and Police departments.

7/14 The Farmer’s Flea & Flower Market at Gobbler Hill Farm – Shoppers save the date! Food, ice cream, and treasure hunting while enjoying the flower gardens and breathtaking sunsets!

7/20 Culpeper Downtown 3rd Thursday Concert – Band of Oz – July 20th, brings the 3rd Thursday Summer Concert Series back to its musical roots with beach music by legendary Band of Oz.

7/22 Bourbon, Bluegrass & BBQ at Belmont Farm Distillery – We’ll have live Bluegrass music, food available for sale, free Bourbon samples, free tours of the distillery and of course all of your favorite products and merchandise in our gift shop! Bring your family and friends and come relax at the farm.

7/22 Hat Painting Workshop at Wild Lines Studios – Whether you plan to wear it or display it, these wide-brim hats are gorgeous and make a fun accessory to any outfit.

7/29/23 – Annual Culpeper Triathlon – Since 2005 the Culpeper Triathlon has been staged out of Mountain Run Lake Park at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. After a swim in Mountain Run Lake athletes roll out of T1 for a challenging bike course with great pavement and amazing views.
