Join us for an evening to show your support to our local Firefighters, EMTs, and Police departments. This is to include: Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department, Culpeper County Animal Control, Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department, Culpeper County Volunteer Rescue Squad, Culpeper Office of Emergency Services, Virginia Conservation Police, Little Fork Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, PHI Air Care, Reva Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, Rapidan Volunteer Fire Department, Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Salem Volunteer Fire & Rescue, E911 Dispatch, Culpeper Town Police, Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police.
The ceremony will take place in two parts. The first part of the program is an opportunity to highlight each company and station. Each organization will receive an appreciation award for their service to the Culpeper community.
Following the appreciation portion of the program, the Chamber will give the Valor Awards. These awards will be given to individuals or teams for a specific act of extraordinary bravery and exceptional valor while in the line of duty. It is not the intent of this meritorious award to be given to an entire department/agency/squad. This award should be reserved for an individual or team that has gone above and beyond the normal duties on a specific incident.
