12/1 – 12/15 Culpeper Downtown “A Christmas Story” Scavenger Hunt – There’s no triple dog dare here, search 10 clues, each inspired by the holiday classic film, A Christmas Story, to discover a variety of merchants and shops throughout quaint and historically charming Culpeper Downtown.
12/8 & 12/9 A Walk Through Bethlehem – A Walk Thru Bethlehem LIVE EVENT, Free and open to the public December 8th & 9th from 6pm to 8pm Stroll through time and experience the true meaning of Christmas! Animals – Refreshments – Christmas Carols Open Door Baptist Church.
12/6 – 12/20 – Oak Shade Christmas Tree Farm – Open Wednesday – Sunday 9am – 5pm you can take the whole family out to Oak Shade Tree Farm to find the perfect Christmas Tree, fresh holiday garland, decor, arts, crafts, gifts and more!
12/9 Culpeper Downtown Winter Farmers Market – Join some of your favorite Market vendors during the Holiday Season and restock your pantry or freezer with the best quality and local agriculture and horticulture products, along with handcrafted artisan goods! Find the Winter Market at the East Davis Street Parking lot.
12/9 Historic Salubria Winter Open House – Join Historic Germanna as we commemorate the 160th anniversary of the winter encampment of the Union Army in Culpeper County.
12/9 Far Gohn Brewing Company Holiday Party – Come for the beer, and stay for the holiday cheer on Saturday, December 9th. Festivities begin at 5pm and A.P. Project Performs at 7pm. All are welcome, and Mug Club members will receive a special holiday gift (while supplies last).
12/9 & 12/10 Holiday Festival Weekend at Verdun Adventure Bound – Festival is open from 1-7pm, Zip Lines will be open from 1-5pm Free admission to the Festival, and free zip-line tickets (while supplies last and must be present to receive ticket). Free Moon-bounce, Face painting, and pictures with Santa and more!
12/9 Santa Paws! At Beer Hound Brewery – Santa Paws is Coming to Town! He can’t wait to meet all the good pups! Get your picture taken with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Paws!
12/10 Sips with Santa at Death Ridge Brewery – Santa Claus is coming to town! Bring the kids for sippin’ with Santa! Free cookies and hot chocolate for the children, bring those wish lists!
12/16 Brunch with Santa at Old Trade Brewery – Join us for a lovely breakfast buffet with the big guy himself! Santa Claus will arrive at The Mulberry at 10am for a delicious meal, photos and conversation.
12/16 The Refinery’s Holiday Market – Bring the whole family and join us for our spectacular Holiday Market! FREE SANTA (10am-1pm) FACE PAINTING (12-3pm) HOT DRINKS & TREATS AND SHOP WITH OUR 20+ LOCAL VENDORS!
12/16 – Wreaths Across America at Culpeper National Cemetery – REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom. On December 16, 2023 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony)
12/16 Christmas Carols at Mountain Run Winery – Bring the whole family out for a fun afternoon. From 3-4:45pm we’ll have ornament painting in our upstairs room in the barn and starting around 4:45pm we’ll bundle up and all head over to the Stable barn for a sing-along Holiday caroling beneath our 15ft. Christmas tree with direction from a few amazing local musicians.
12/19 – 12/23 Holiday Hayride Light Show & Walking Light Tour at Verdun Adventure Bound -This year, we have a new Hayride route, more characters and more options to enjoy the light show and make an awesome evening out of it! We have added a walking light show route this year for you to take a stroll with your family through our magical light show.
