Liberty Hall
Liberty Hall Plantation is a historic, family owned and operated equestrian sports center and a working cattle ranch dedicated to passing on Memory, Manner, Methods for generations. We have a strong community of members and boarders that ride and play together here all year long. We sell farm raised mixed black angus – whole/half/quarter or by the cut. LH horses and riders are kept in top working shape through equestrian sports. You will see us out at Twilight Polo, Bull Run Hunt/Warrenton Hunts, as Cavalry re-enactors and the Culpeper Rodeo. We host many events at the Hall that share the history of Colonial Virginia, Culpeper Country, the Revolutionary and Civil War.
Boarding – Liberty Hall offers field and stall boarding for performance, pleasure and retirement horses. We have large paddocks with run in sheds and all weather drinkers. We have miles of trails to enjoy with Hazel River and Muddy Run access without ever needing to trailer. Indoor and outdoor arenas with bathrooms, tack rooms and heated wash stalls in two separate barns.
Equestrian Sports, Lessons & Training – We host many different disciplines at the Hall and have something to enrich any horseman. Trail and pleasure riding lessons for any riding ability, just a one-time visit or lesson packages. Western trail and roping lessons are available for private or groups. We offer polo lesson packages for any level of experience and field a Interscholastic Polo Teams for ages 10-18 years old. Field hunt lessons for experienced riders looking to try out Fox Hunting. We provide mounts for Foxhunting and Polo for qualified riders.
Farm Raised Beef – Born, Raised, and Finished right here at Liberty Hall where we’ve been making beef better for 300 years. Whole/Half/Quarter or By the Cut, we finish every month so can get your order on our schedule easily. Farm Vacation – Stay at the Pond Cottage and enjoy the view! Stabling is available for overnight guests.
Events – Liberty Hall loves being a part of the Culpeper Harvest Days Tours and welcomes more than 200 visitors each year during this special time. We host an annual metal detecting / relic hunt organized in the spring that is always enjoyed and true finds are unearthed each time. We host a History Day in the spring for students to experience the colonial, revolutionary and civil war history made right here. We host private functions for charities and fundraising
