East Street Historic District
One of Culpeper’s oldest and most picturesque streets, South East Street, with homes dating back to 1831, is a collection of primarily Greek and Colonial Revival style homes and well worth a stroll along its tree-lined street. In 2010, East Street became the town’s first residential neighborhood to be named to the National Register of Historic Places. There are slightly more than 40 homes in the area.
