St. Patrick’s Day (3/17) & Irish Heritage Month Events

3/11 Championship Dancers of Irish Culture & Music – Come see performers from the Kiristin Butke Irish Dance School in a presentation of Irish culture and music on March 11, 2023 from 6-7pm at Culpeper County Library.

3/17 St. Patty’s Social Run at Far Gohn Brewery – Come join the Culpeper Running Club for a quick 3-6 mile run, followed by food, drinks and great company! All paces are welcome! Walkers and Runners!

3/17 St. Patty’s Day with Déjà vu at Old Trade Brewery – Join us for a fun St. Paddy’s Day with Irish fare and rockin’ live music by Deja Vu! Wear your green and get ready to party!

3/17 ShamRocking St. Patrick’s Day at Culpeper Eagles – ShamRocking St. Patty’s Day! Potluck Dinner-Bring a Dish to Share. Open Mic Jamboree- Bring an instrument for your voice! Let’s have a Laid Back Shamrocking time!

3/17 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Death Ridge Brewery – St. Patrick’s Day celebration at DRB! Open at 12pm to get the beers flowing! New Iberia Food Truck joins us at 4pm with a special menu! Say What Again band kicks the music off at 5:30! Find a gold coin on your cup for a free pint!

3/18 St. Patrick’s Day Blast at Beer Hound Brewery – Come check out the most powerful Celtic Rock duo, Wes Arnold on drums and Dave Hinton on bagpipes) in VA. (Maybe the East coast) Lots of craft beer at its best and light food and snacks.

3/18 St. Paddy’s on Kelly Street – You are invited St. Paddy’s on Kelly Street. We will have street vendors, Irish dancers, bagpipes, Irish singers, King and Queen ginger contest, and a Kids Treasure hunt for real gold.

3/18 Gold Rush 5K – Come join us for a fun morning run at our Gold Rush 5K. Located at Culpeper County High School on the cross country course.

3/6 – 3/12 Spring Culpeper Downtown Restaurant Week – Eleven different independently owned Culpeper Downtown restaurants will be offering specially priced menu options — includes a 3-course dinner to include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert — it’s a great excuse to revisit old favorites or try something new.

3/12 Country Fusion Country Line Dancing at Mountain Run Winery – Grab your boots and let’s get scootin! Join Karen at Mountain Run Winery for some fun Country Line Dancing!!

3/18 Battle of Kelly’s Ford 160th Anniversary Guided Tour – Although overshadowed by the much larger Battle of Brandy Station several months later, the Battle of Kelly’s Ford on March 17, 1863 was a significant marker in the growing capacity of the United States cavalry to meet and defeat its Confederate counterparts during the American Civil War.

3/24 Glow Run 5K & Kids Dash – Bring the family & get your glow on! Register for an evening Glow Run 5K, Kids’ Dash, indoor 5K walk & other activities.

3/24 & 3/25 CulpeperCon – Can Captain Culpeper Contain all this fun? Put on your capes and get ready to save the World one graphic novel at a time as the Friends of the Culpeper County Library presents the inaugural “CulpeperCon,” March 24-25 at Culpeper County Library, 271 Southgate Shopping Center.

3/31 – Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Country Club of Culpeper – Adult Easter Egg Hunt! This event is fun, and the eggs will be loaded with eggstraordinary prizes!! DJ DreamChild will also be on hand spinning some tunes.
