Culpeper, VA New Host City for 2023 Cal Tri

Cal Tri Events announced the addition of 2023 Cal Tri Culpeper – 6.11.23 as a host city to its national race series. The inaugural edition of 2023 Cal Tri Culpeper – 6.11.23 will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Culpeper’s Mountain Run Lake Park, situated in north-central Virginia. The event increases awareness, engagement and raises funds for both local and national charities including Habitat For Humanity.
“This race is an opportunity to showcase the Culpeper community and surrounding area. A typical Cal Tri Events includes a combination of local athletes and endurance tourists coming from 20-plus states. We strive to both provide a safe and affordable athlete experience as well as give back to the community. Done well, these athletes will return to Culpeper year after year.” says Thom Richmond, CEO, Cal Tri Events.
The race features 14 event options including triathlon, triathlon relay, runbikerun, swimbike, swimrun, swim and run at both the sprint & Olympic distances.
