HISTORY EVENTS
Culpeper’s Revolution of Ideas: The Culpeper Resolves 1774 – March 1– March 31, 2024 – A new exhibit in the Museum of Culpeper History examines the course of the independence movement in Culpeper County prior to the Revolutionary War.
Hancock’s Hefeweizen Beer Release – March 1 – March 15, 2024 – Help us kick off Women’s History Month with the release of Hancock’s Hefeweizen, entirely brewed by women at Old Trade Brewery and Cidery.
Lecture Series: Incredible Women in Culpeper – March 12, 2024 – The Museum of Culpeper History will host a lecture on the lives of four incredible women who helped shape Culpeper history.
2024 Relic Hunt at Liberty Hall – March 16, 2024 – Liberty Hall will be holding our annual seeded and natural relic hunt. There will be thousands of dollars’ worth of relics seeded (or by token) on the property, plus the opportunity to hunt for natural relics.
The Search for Bigfoot in Culpeper– March 16, 2024 – Whether he’s called sasquatch, swamp ape, wildman, or woodbooger, some claim that the legendary Bigfoot travels the back pastures and byways of Culpeper County.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY EVENTS
Early St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Bag Pipe & Drum at Beer Hound Brewery – March 9, 2024 – Early St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Bag Pipes & Drum with Master Piper, David Hinton from 1 – 4 PM.
Shamrocks on Kelly Street – March 16, 2024 – Kelly Street Boxing Club will host an Irish Street Festival including street vendors, Irish dancers, bagpipes, Irish singers, King and Queen ginger contest, and a Kid’s Treasure hunt for real gold.
St. Patrick’s Day at Mountain Run Winery – March 16, 2024 – Mountain Run Winery is kicking off a new season at the winery on St. Patrick’s Day eve with live music from Waking Napster, Pepper’s on the Go Food Truck, and plenty of wine/beer/cider/mead.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Death Ridge Brewery – March 17, 2024 – Head out to Death Ridge Brewery for a day full of Irish fun! The BBQ Rescue will be on site with live music rocking from Hammaville! Find a gold coin on your cup, and get a free pint! St. Paddy’s photo wall with props!

Culpeper Downtown Spring Restaurant Week – March 18 – 24, 2024 – Eat, Drink, and Be Merry in Culpeper Downtown during Culpeper Downtown Spring Restaurant Week.
Culpeper Con – March 22 & 23, 2024 – Unite with fellow comic book fans and celebrate the 2nd edition of CulpeperCon. This two-day event will feature a cosplay contest, keynote speaker, games, artwork, graphic novels, demonstrations, and more!
Glow Run 5K & Kids 1-mile Fun Run – March 29, 2024 – Runners and walkers are invited to take part in PATH Recreation & Fitness Center’s 2nd Annual Glow Run 5K. Also available is a 1-mile Fun Run for kids, and a low-impact fitness class that will get you the same number of steps as a 5K.
EASTER EVENTS
3rd Annual Easter Hop Fest at Bees and Trees Farm – March 23, 2024 – Come out for a family fun day on the farm featuring The Easter Bunny, food trucks, pony rides, Easter egg hunts, and more!
Old Trade Easter Egg Hunt – March 23, 2024 – The Easter bunny will hop on by early, leaving endless amounts of treat-filled eggs for your little and not-so-little kids! Advanced sales only.
Adult and Kids Easter Egg Hunts at Mountain Run Winery – March 31, 2024 – The winery is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt event for all ages, including adults! Food will be available for purchase from Two Smooth Dudes, live music by Ian Vest, snow cones from Kona Ice, barrel train rides running all afternoon, a bounce house, goat snuggling from Happy Meadow Farm, and an onsite playground.
