Old House Vineyards and Cruisin For Heroes are celebrating Veterans Day weekend by honoring our military and their families on Saturday, November 11th from 11am – 5pm
Fisher House builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay for free while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. Mary Considine, Fisher House Chief of Staff, will be a guest speaker.
The All-Airborne Battalion will be doing static line jumps out of a c-47 over the vineyard (weather permitting) between 12 – 1pm or between 11am – noon based on weather conditions.
Military vehicle rides will be available for donations to Fisher House, there will be live music from 1-4pm by James Tamelcoff and The Green Ribbon at the brewery & Catch the Chef food truck will be open throughout the afternoon.
The event is free and wristbands will be available to “purchase” for a suggested donation of $10 which will provide discounts on food, wine, beer and spirits throughout the afternoon.
A Cruisin For Heroes/Fisher House booth will be set up for information and Military Recruiters will be onsite.
This is a family friendly event supporting our military & community.
