  1. Goat, Alpacas, and Pig Play at Spring Haven Farm – Spend an afternoon at Spring Haven Farm snuggling and relaxing with the alpacas, goats, and pigs.  It is the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, have an outing for a family reunion, or bring your business partners for a fun day together. You can also host a fishing party on their private pond.  No fishing license required! This scenic farm is located in Boston, VA. Reservations are required.
  2. Hayride & Pumpkin Patch at Round Hill Farm – Take the entire family to Round Hill Farm this season to enjoy a traditional wagon ride out to their pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin for carving. Admission includes access to their zip line, hay bale maze, boon bounces and more!!
  3. Camping on the Rappahannock River at Rappahannock River Campground – Plan a weekend camping, fishing and enjoying the Rappahannock River at Rappahannock River Campground. They offer year round daily canoe and kayak rentals and special event rentals too!
  4. Shopping at Culpeper’s Farmers Market – Saturday mornings through the end of October you can find a variety of local farms, artisans and kids activities at the Farmers Market from 7:30 am –  12 pm. The perfect way to start your day. 
  5. Farm visits during Culpeper’s Annual Farm Tour (Sept. 21st & 22nd) – This event provides a wonderful educational experience and includes an array of hands-on activities and demonstrations at numerous working farms.
  6. Experience Historic Salubria – For the first time ever, Historic Salubria will open for regular hours.  From Memorial Day to Labor Day, visitors can explore this historic home from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.  Explore at your leisure or call ahead for guided tours. 
  7. Attend Culpeper’s 3rd Annual Rodeo (August 31, 2024) – The 3rd Annual Culpeper Rodeo returns this Fall on August 31st from 3 pm – 8 pm. Check out a variety of incredible local food trucks, live music, country line dancing, and more before the rodeo begins at 6pm. Fun for the whole family! 
  8. Rent a canoe, kayak, paddle board, or paddle boat from Lake Culpeper Adventures at the Ole Country Store and spend the day out on Lake Culpeper.  
  9. Take a self-guided walking tour of Downtown Culpeper. From beautiful alleyways to one-of-a-kind murals, the downtown district provides photo ops perfect for creating memories.  Download the Downtown Photo Worthy Stops Map, or pick up a copy at the Visitor’s Center.
