“Elementary Explorers” is the museum’s brand NEW interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts, objects, and activities out of the past and to life! The series, targeted at ages 5-9, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different activity and craft inspired by local history.
Join us as we learn all about the weather. Participants will get to go on a weather-related scavenger hunt as well as make a suncatcher wind chime to take home.
The Museum of Culpeper History partners with the African American Heritage Alliance for a panel discussion on the roles African Americans played in the community. The panel will focus on the areas of agriculture, civic engagement and education, spotlighting at least one individual in each of these categories.
The Caboose will be open and decorated like a Mardi Gras float as part of CRI's Carnival celebration. There will also be a king craft and fun trivia in the museum.
