Starting on January 27-December 31, 2024 – A new exhibit in the Museum of Culpeper History will be featured. This exhibit, titled “Culpeper’s Revolution of Ideas: The Culpeper Resolves, 1774,” examines the course of the independence movement in Culpeper County prior to the Revolutionary War.

On February 1, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., a presentation, titled, “Greenlee Tavern: Early America Beyond the Blue Ridge,” will be held at Mountain Run Winery by descendant John Foster will discuss the stories and legends surrounding the early family, fortune and misfortune on the frontier, routes of immigration, architectural landmarks, the American Revolution, early religion, colonization and more.
On February 4, 2024, from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm Wollam Gardens will host a Flower Pressing Workhop.

Verdun has a beautiful cross country course with just enough hills to make it interesting. There is a lot of variety in surface and terrain… in and out of the woods, alongside two ponds, over a couple streams (don’t worry… foot bridges).
