Grass Rootes Restaurant

What is now known as Grass Rootes restaurant at the corner of Davis Street and East Street, this building was used as a jail during the American Civil War – the bars are still on the windows. It has been used by several businesses over the years. During an investigation by the paranormal team, an eerie voice said – very distinctly – “I can see you.”
