Hardwood Artisans is a fine handmade furniture company with showrooms in Elkwood, VA, Arlington, VA, and Bethesda, MD. Our shop and nearest showroom is located in Elkwood, VA. Tours are offered six days a week. During the tours, you can see how they build their furniture using only the finest woods, tools, and craftspeople. Once the product has been built and finished, they deliver it to their showrooms for display or to their customer’s homes.
Hardwood Artisans have been in business since 1976. From simple beginnings, they have emerged as a prominent furniture maker, skilled in design as well as construction. They are here simply because of their commitment, craftsmanship, and understanding of how to build furniture to last forever.
Hardwood Artisans work in eight different woods but can custom order any wood you desire for special orders (Red Oak, Birch, Cherry, Maple, Curly Maple, Mahogany, Walnut, and White Oak) -Specialize in custom furniture making -They also design and build for large projects (Built-ins, Vanities, Kitchens, and Doors).
