Sharp Rock Vineyards
Sharp Rock Farm was established in the late 1700’s as a working family farm and we continue that tradition today with our vineyards, winery, and Bed & Breakfast cottages. The first vineyards were planted in 1992 consisting of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc with additions soon after of Merlot, Malbec, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our last plantings were of Petit Verdot and Vidal. It is from these eight varietals that we make our twelve estate wines. The winery opened in the Fall of 1998 and since then, Sharp Rock has selectively entered national and international wine competitions and won over 100 medals.
