SUMMARY:Annual Relic Hunt at Liberty Hall
DESCRIPTION:Liberty Hall will be holding our annual seeded and natural relic hunt on SUNDAY April 6th 2025.\n**The Royal Artillery brass strap from a artillery pouch (relic pictured above) was found at Liberty Hall last year by Patrick Connors of The Shank is Intact. He did a fabulous Youtube video on it and American Digger did a article on the find and the piece. An amazing piece of history!! https://youtu.be/cfiPWwgbJ94\nSign up is through our Waiver File – see link in the event page.\nEarly registration through January 15 is $125 per hunter\, payable at registration. (Venmo is preferred to @LibertyHallVa). Email or PM us for other payment options.\nThis will be a combination seeded and natural hunt. We will have thousands of dollars worth of relics seeded (or by token) on the property\, plus the opportunity to hunt for natural relics.The plantation is located at\nLiberty Hall18255 Plantation LoopRixeyville VA 22737\nThe plantation is a colonial site\, occupied by both CSA and US forces during the war. There are 2 Confederate canon emplacements on the property (prob from 1863)\, as well as a large US camp presence (from the winter of 1864).
