SUMMARY:Global Big Day at Cedar Mountain Battlefield
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a bird walk on October Big Day at Cedar Mountain Battlefield. October Big Day is a 24-hour global celebration of birds. Cornell Ornithology and the National Audubon Society coordinate this citizen science initiative. The goal is to count as many birds as possible and report them on Cornell’s eBird platform. This year’s October Big Day is scheduled for Saturday\, October 12th. The Old Rag Master Naturalists will be sponsoring a bird walk on October Big Day at Cedar Mountain Battlefield. Registration is required and will open on September 29th. To register visit: https://www.oldragmasternaturalists.org/cefield-trips.html. Participants will be limited to 12 people. Registration is open to all.
