SUMMARY:Cedar Mountain Battlefield Real-time Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join historian\, Greg Mertz\, as he leads a real-time tour of the Battle of Cedar Mountain. Considering the current daylight savings time\, things occurred about an hour later than during the war. The 90-minute program will be held from 6:00-8:30 pm. Starting at the Cedar Mountain Battlefield Information Center located at 9465 General Winder Rd.\, Rapidan\, VA 22733\, the tour will highlight the 1862 clash between Confederate forces under legendary Maj. Gen. Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson and Federal forces under Maj. Gen. Nathaniel Banks.
