See you there! \n \n\n\n\n\nThere will be an Artist Talk from 1-2pm. \n\n\nThe African American Heritage Alliance (AAHA) Culpeper in partnership with the Windmore Center for the Arts invite you to our second annual Art Show. This art show is entitled Windows to Our Heritage: Art That Honors Our Journey and will be held on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, from 10am to 4pm at the State Theater\, 305 S Main Street Culpeper\, VA. \nThe Alliance envisions a community that educates\, enlightens\, and serves as a primary resource for showcasing Culpeper’s African American experiences within our regional story. Windmore Center for the Arts’ vision is to be the heart of artistic expression and education in our community\, offering a welcoming\, sustainable space where people connect\, create\, and experience the transformative power of the arts. There will be an Artist Talk from 1-2pm. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome! \nEvent Highlights\n* A curated exhibition of African American themed art from local and regional artists\n* Opportunities to support\, meet\, engage with the artists\, and purchase their art\n* Reflections on heritage\, identity\, and cultural legacy through visual expression\n* A community gathering that honors history while inspiring future generations

DESCRIPTION:Drop by Historic Salubria any time between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Sunday April 13 for an informal afternoon of art and community. Explore the 18th century house and grounds\, and be inspired to create art of your own! Limited art supplies\, including paper\, pencils\, and paint\, will be provided\, but if you have favorite art supplies of your own\, bring them! \nA suggested donation of $10 per adult\, $5 per child\, is recommended. Registration is encouraged\, but not required. \nIn the event of inclement weather\, the event will be cancelled.
