DESCRIPTION:Revalation Vineyards is thrilled to feature artist Chee Kludt Ricketts in our tasting rooms for March and April. Chee enjoys exhibiting her watercolors and acrylics whenever possible. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at This Century Gallery in Williamsburg\, Blue Skies Gallery in Hampton\, and the Purcell Gallery of the Louisa Arts Center. She is a Signature Member of the Virginia Watercolor Society\, where she has received four awards. Locally\, she is a member of the Firnew Farm Artists’ Circle in Hood and the Art Guild of Greene. \nChee’s paintings hang in numerous public and private collections nationwide\, including the International Storytelling Festival Visitors’ Center in Jonesboro\, TN\, Augusta Health System\, Rockingham Regional Medical Center\, UVA Health System\, Ferguson Enterprises Headquarters in Newport News\, the City of Hampton\, and Thomas Nelson Community College\, Hampton\, VA. \nA native of Camden\, South Carolina\, and a graduate of Agnes Scott College in Decatur\, GA\, Chee earned credit in additional classes and graduate courses at The College of William and Mary\, Old Dominion University\, Christopher Newport University\, La Salle University\, and Thomas Nelson Community College\, and has studied with nationally recognized artists. She feels\, however\, that practice is the best teacher; therefore\, she devotes as much time as possible to working in her Greene County studio\, or en plein air on the hills surrounding her farm.

Embark on another perilous journey—this time to the kingdom of Eponore\, where the unified forces of Osterra gather to wage war on The Court of The Winter Queen. But she\, of course\, has her own plans to dominate the realm and expand her frozen empire.\nWe will seek the most clever and brave champions of the realm.\nAt the Rites of Spring each year are held great tournaments to determine who is most skilled with sword\, spear\, and bow. It’s a perfect event for those who have never LARPed before\, and yet challenging with a depth of story\, and competitive combat\, so that even veteran fighters\, and role players will find their skills pushed to the limit. It combines elements of scavenger hunts\, adventure racing\, puzzle solving\, resource allocation\, and live action combat with safe foam weapons to provide a fun weekend of adventure. DESCRIPTION:The Culpeper Minutemen Chapter will recognize African American and  Native American History in the Revolutionary War as we approach the  250th Anniversary of this Nation. We will also talk about the 20 known Patriots of Color\, both free and enslaved\, from the Culpeper area\, who also served to create this nation. The Culpeper Minutemen Chapter SAR  wishes to thank the Museum of Culpeper History for its research and Culpeper County for its support with the VASSAR ColorGuard.

They will also be offering steamed shrimp and non-seafood items!. Throw in the music of South Canal Street and add the beautiful mountain and vineyard views\, and you have a day made in heaven! So grab a bottle of wine\, some fine oysters\, find a seat\, and enjoy a great afternoon at DuCard. Admission tickets are $12 in advance and $20 at the gate.
