DESCRIPTION:Join us for Veterans Tribute Night at Verdun’s Summer Nights Concert Series with The Leroy Burks Band\, Blake Esse\, and Andrew Washington. We’ve partnered with Hero’s Bridge to bring you an incredible night of music.\nLeroy has opened up for Major Country acts\, including the widely popular\, “The Band Steele”. While in the Army\, Leroy continued performing with local theater groups. In 2006\, he won the USAG Ansbach Military Idol competition. He is a published Nashville Songwriter with over 40 songs written.\nBlake\, best known for his original music\, classic covers and crowd engagement averages 25 shows per month sharing his original music across the globe. Blake’s EP was produced by Clint Black and Dwain Rowe of Restless Heart and Brooks & Dunn. Blake is currently working with Dwain Rowe and crew on their second project together which is set to release on all platforms late 2023. Blake regularly tours and has opened for Clint Black\, Chris Young\, Michael Ray and Dierks Bentley.\nAndrew Washington is a traditional country artist who keeps country country. Blame it on Waylon\, Jones the Hag and King George. If it’s true country then he’s all about it.\nCamping setup begins at 3pm\, music starts at 5pm.\nTicket Information and Prices:\nConcert Tickets\n– Kids 4 & under – Free\n– Ages 5-13 – $5.00/Child\n– General Admission – $15.00/Person\nCamping**\n– Kids 4 & under – Free\n– Kids 5-13 – No additional cost to concert ticket\n– GA Concert Ticket/Camping Ticket – $20 / Person\n**Camping set up with driving access is from 3-4:30 to your GA site**\nAfter that time slot\, there will be no car access to drive your gear.\nGeneral Admission camping will be available from our Redtail Landing site\, spreading all the way to Eagles Landing\, located by the bathhouse.\nAdventure Pass* – $10/person\n*Adventure pass includes a single round on the Static Course\, Climbing tower and Dual zipline one concert evening*\nMust be 8 y/o or older for the climbing wall and ziplines.\nMust be 13 y/o or older for the Static Course.

DESCRIPTION:Cedar Mountain Battlefield Foundation will host the Battle of Cedar Mountain in its first 1/100 scale war gaming event on Saturday\, July 27th at 11:00 AM. The event will take place at Cedar Mountain Battlefield Information Center located at 9465 General Winder Road\, Rapidan\, Virginia (approximately 5 miles South of Culpeper off Hwy 15). Please note that this event will be held in a small venue\, and viewing access may be limited. Visitors are welcome to observe the event\, but will not unable to participate in the war gaming event.
