Come celebrate the start of Spring on Saturday\, March 7th with a LARP Tavern Takeover at Greenlee Tavern.\nYour spirits will be lifted by LARP bards Brady Lloyd (Radby/Maple) and Dan Joyner (Spire) playing tavern music all night and we’ll have lyric sheets available if you want to join some of the more popular tavern sing-along songs. Yes\, we reused their images in the event banner for last year because they are so amazing I could almost picture seeing them on a mead bottle!\nWe’re looking at getting a food truck and the bar will stay open until midnight. There will be lots of mead\, wine and beer and cider available for purchase\, including our four new meads for 2026: Blood Orange Spice\, Blackberry Juniper\, Wildflower\, and our Ginger Cyser (on draft). We’ll have a bonfire at dusk and a loud and rowdy LARP tavern all night.\nAll attendees must be in garb and 21+. The event formally starts at 6:00 pm but Greenlee will be open all day to the public if you want to come early.

Locally\, she is a member of the Firnew Farm Artists’ Circle in Hood and the Art Guild of Greene. \nChee’s paintings hang in numerous public and private collections nationwide\, including the International Storytelling Festival Visitors’ Center in Jonesboro\, TN\, Augusta Health System\, Rockingham Regional Medical Center\, UVA Health System\, Ferguson Enterprises Headquarters in Newport News\, the City of Hampton\, and Thomas Nelson Community College\, Hampton\, VA. \nA native of Camden\, South Carolina\, and a graduate of Agnes Scott College in Decatur\, GA\, Chee earned credit in additional classes and graduate courses at The College of William and Mary\, Old Dominion University\, Christopher Newport University\, La Salle University\, and Thomas Nelson Community College\, and has studied with nationally recognized artists. She feels\, however\, that practice is the best teacher; therefore\, she devotes as much time as possible to working in her Greene County studio\, or en plein air on the hills surrounding her farm.

Long lasting and easy to care for\, your masterpiece will bring endless smiles to you and others.\nRegistration Details\nRegistration includes instruction\, one 7 inch pine round\, a variety of air plants\, dried flowers\, feathers and decorative moss. All materials and tools will be provided. Just bring your creativity. \nArrive 5-10 minutes early to check in\, and we’ll start right on time. Our workshops are held in our location at 105 E Davis Street.\nKids aged 9 and up are welcome to join\, but space is limited to one guardian per participant under 18.\nPlease note: All registrations are non-refundable.\nAbout The Instructor\nLeslie Geer is a botanical designer with a design studio in downtown Staunton\, in the historic Stonewall Jackson Schoolhouse on Beverley Street.\nShe creates custom botanical pieces\, with a focus on succulents and air plants\, repurposing found and collected vintage treasures. Since 2021\, she has collaborated with the Staunton Downtown Development Association\, designing and maintaining the planters of over 30 businesses in Staunton’s shopping district from May to October during their Shop & Dine Out season. Leslie also tends gardens year round on the grounds of Pharsalia\, a 200 year old flower farm and event venue in Nelson County. She has been developing a program of botanical workshops that have been well received at Pharsalia and also in Staunton Harrisonburg\, and Culpeper\, VA.
