DESCRIPTION:Thoughts of Christmas don’t usually present themselves in July….unless you have a Christmas Tree farm. July is when we shear the trees to shape them for sale in December.\nSo please come to our Open Farm day on Saturday\, July 13\, from 1 to 5 pm and we will show you what goes into preparing for Christmas\, even in July. \nWe will demonstrate how to shear the trees\, how we make garland\, and how we make the ornaments and woodenware that we sell during Christmas. Our shiitake mushroom production\, and our weaving loom\, might also interest you\, and the firepit might be of interest if it is not too hot. Our Tree House shop will be open\, and cool\, as well. \nSo please come by for a visit. The farm looks very different in July than what you might have experienced during your Christmas visits.

The XC course begins and ends at Death Ridge Brewery and includes a significant portion of the Verdun Adventure Bound Cross Country Course. If you keep an eye out\, you might actually see some Emu and a Zebra (no\, really!) as the course cuts through a neighbor’s property.
