DESCRIPTION:The Carver 4-County Museum will be featuring a new exhibit honoring prolific writer\, John Mercer Langston Hughes\, born February 1\, 1901\, in Joplin\, Missouri. He passed away in New York on May 22\, 1967.\n\nIn 1936\, he wrote the poem\, “Let America Be America Again\,” which is the foundation for our new exhibit\, “Liberty\, Labor and Langston.”\n——-\n\nThe Liberty\, Labor and Langston\, exhibit opens online at www.carver4m.org on February 1\, 2025\, in celebration of Black History Month.  It is curated by Terry Miller.  It will open inside the museum from February 25 through the end of December. The Kids Maze (0.4 miles)\, Tractor Maze (1.2 miles) or the Farmer John Maze (1.8 miles). Choose to take on the maze with a GPS link for map support or try it ‘old school’ and test your maze skills with your own sense of direction!\nTake a break between mazes and enjoy refreshments for sale at the concession stand. Adults may enjoy wine from our exclusive partner DuCard Vineyards. \nFlashlight Maze- Fridays and Saturdays after dusk. Bring your own flashlight or purchase one from us to navigate the maze after dark as a special treat.\nCome prepared to be a part of a working farm. Boots\, jackets\, gloves\, hat\, flashlight\, tickets and your best friends should be on your list. \nAll maze tickets are sold online.
