DESCRIPTION:The Carver 4-County Museum will be featuring a new exhibit honoring prolific writer\, John Mercer Langston Hughes\, born February 1\, 1901\, in Joplin\, Missouri. He passed away in New York on May 22\, 1967.\n\nIn 1936\, he wrote the poem\, “Let America Be America Again\,” which is the foundation for our new exhibit\, “Liberty\, Labor and Langston.”\n——-\n\nThe Liberty\, Labor and Langston\, exhibit opens online at www.carver4m.org on February 1\, 2025\, in celebration of Black History Month.  It is curated by Terry Miller.  It will open inside the museum from February 25 through the end of December. DESCRIPTION:To our hard working Moms (and Dads) in the crowd!! Want to take a break\, grab a beer from our Brewery and food from Catch the Chef!! You know sit still for longer than 5 min 😉 Let your kiddos be entertained with a FREE one hour KIDS line dancing session (ages 6 and up) with Karen from BOOM fitness\, starts at 11am!! Then starting at 12pm offering Sandy’s Face Paintings ($12-15 based on design)! Catch the Chef will be on-site from 11am to 2pm. See you then!!
