He passed away in New York on May 22\, 1967.\n\nIn 1936\, he wrote the poem\, “Let America Be America Again\,” which is the foundation for our new exhibit\, “Liberty\, Labor and Langston.”\n——-\n\nThe Liberty\, Labor and Langston\, exhibit opens online at www.carver4m.org on February 1\, 2025\, in celebration of Black History Month.  It is curated by Terry Miller.  It will open inside the museum from February 25 through the end of December. More info and tickets for the pig roast can be found under winery events. \nThis Western event is FREE \nSchedule of events is TBD and will include opening shots\, intro to western lifestyle\, roping demos\, guns of the old west demos\, and a mock gun battle.\nThis is a family friendly event. No dogs please as there will be lots of loud noises\, mock gunfire and fun.
