Step Into the Shadows of Salubria

On Friday, October 3, Historic Germanna invites you to experience Salubria After Dark—our spine-tingling, after-hours Halloween tradition.

As twilight falls, the 18th-century plantation house comes alive in the flicker of candles, lanterns, and glowing jack-o’-lanterns. Dare to cross the threshold of one of Culpeper County’s oldest mansions and immerse yourself in myths, legends, and ghostly lore that have haunted Salubria for over 250 years.

Guided by costumed interpreters, you’ll wander shadowed halls and hear macabre tales that blur the line between fact and fable. From chilling whispers of the past to eerie echoes that linger still, every story adds another layer to Salubria’s enduring mystery.

Tours begin on the hour—6:00, 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 PM.

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance.
