Fall is hanging on and we’re gearing up for the holiday season in Culpeper, Virginia. It’s the best of both worlds: remaining foliage with a side of turkey and holiday shopping with a dash of cheer. Join us this month for entertainment, special events, and ways to soothe your body and mind.
November 6 – Wine & Design is a fun destination for those who love to put brush to canvas and be inspired with instruction and liquid creativity. Bring a friend to paint “Mystical Forest,” a snowy forest scene with a bit of Northern Lights action in the sky. Classes are for no more than 20 masked and distanced participants ages 18 and older. Registration required. Take & Paint Kits are available as well.

November 6 – Take notes when you join in the virtual Zumba Fitness class sponsored by Culpeper Parks and Recreation. Recalling a thing or two will be helpful after Thanksgiving weekend. Or plan to tune in that Friday as well. Virtual Zumba is offered every Friday through December 18.
November 6 – This is the last Cattle Drive Weekend of the year at Andora Farm! If you’ve been putting off a visit, now’s the time to escape and treat yourself to a most unique experience. The weekend is all inclusive and includes educational opportunities as well as leisurely trail rides.
November 7 – The Atlantic Aesthetic returns to Davis St. Pier with their poppin’ Reggae/Soul blends. They’re homegrown Culpeper talent and you won’t want to miss their set from 9 p.m. to midnight.
November 7 – Burnt Ends BBQ – authentic Texas style barbecue – is hosting their very first Car Show, which is also open to motorcycles and trucks. Four classes of entry: Cars 1990 to 1995, Cars 1996 to Present, Trucks (all years), and Motorcycles (all years). Wear a mask and peruse the beauties on display, enjoy the live music, toss some cornhole, and do eat the excellent food by Burnt Ends BBQ. It all kicks off at 10 a.m.
November 7 – Flex on the Pep is a partner fitness competition hosted by Crossfit Culpeper, and prizes are up for grabs.
November 10, 17, 24 – It’s either a great time to start crafting holiday gifts or a time for distraction. Whatever your need for a creative outlet, the weekly Drawing & Painting courses by Culpeper County Parks & Recreation are a great option. Each class is held at the Lenn Park Activity Room and begins at 6 p.m. for ages 6 to 10, 7 p.m. for ages 11 to 17, and 8:05 p.m. for ages 18 and older. All supplies are provided.
November 14 – The 3rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair held at Eastern View High School will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shop from dozens of vendors, purchase raffle or 50/50 tickets, and add extra support by purchasing concessions. The rain date will be November 21, should the need arise.
November 14 – Try an acoustic night out at Davis St. Pier! Madison Highway Band Tailgates and Backwoods will be playing from 9:45 p.m. to 12:45 a.m., and they promise to keep the great music rolling while you enjoy the evening.
November 20 – Tamara Mae and Friends are playing Davis St. Pier from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Their set list is all original music with a few you might know mixed in. Hear something new and enjoy late night appetizers.
November 21 – The Unsuitables – a go-to band for “rock and roll with a twist of funk and soul” – will be at Prince Michel at 5 p.m. to offer their brand of spirit lifters alongside those of the winery. Toast the season and enjoy the music break.
