Culpeper VA250 Founders Dinner at Salubria

FOUNDERS DINNERS AT HISTORIC SALUBRIA
An intimate culinary series honoring America’s 250th Anniversary
This fall, Gather invites guests to take a seat at one of Virginia’s most remarkable historic tables. Set against the backdrop of Historic Salubria, a preserved 18th-century Georgian manor in Culpeper County, the Founders Dinners are a series of immersive evenings exploring the stories, traditions, and flavors that shaped the early American table.
The inaugural dinner, Provision & Forage, brings together historical inspiration, seasonal ingredients, and communal dining in a candlelit setting designed for meaningful conversation and connection. Chef Frida Johansson will present a five-course menu inspired by foods carried across the Atlantic and those discovered and shared upon arrival in the New World, accompanied by thoughtfully selected regional beverage pairings.
