The Rappahannock and Rapidan Rivers have something for everyone, with boating sections suitable for everyone from novice to advanced. Trips range from a few hours to four days. The rivers are in a natural setting, virtually unchanged by civilization. They flow through Civil War Battlefields, abandoned 18th century gold mines, and ruins of an early 1800s canal system. The scenery is a breathtaking sight you'll never forget.
The Rappahannock River Campground offers canoe, kayak, and tubing trips; all great ways to get away and have fun.
